Bursts of laughter, lots of chatter!! At the center of room, two barmen beckoning to us with their  enticing cocktails, jazz rhythms created by a trio of musicians… combine all these factors and you have described the atmosphere which reigned during the fourth annual A Martini to the Museum, which took place on Thursday October 13, at the Museum of the Fine Arts of Sherbrooke (Musée de beaux arts de Sherbrooke).

The evening, unfolding under the Honorary Presidency of Mr. Robert Morier - President de Robert Morier Inc. (financial services firm), was a definite success, bringing together nearly 150 people and collecting a total of $13,750.  Within the framework of this amicable ‘5 to 7’, with the musical trio of Jean-Jacques Beauchamp, Guy Breton and Maurice Saint-Pierre, the opportunity for those present, to win a gift certificate from Restaurant Auguste, superb martini glasses from Després, and two different artworks also presented itself.

Thank you to all the partners for this evening event. A Martini to the Museum: an event organized by the Foundation of the Museum of the Fine Arts of Sherbrooke …an event that is sure to be back in 2012.
